Tour of the Universe by Children of the World will be a beautiful and inspirational compilation of children's astrophotography, cosmic art, poetry, and photographs and/or mini video clips of children enjoying astronomy--all set to music with part of the lyrics sung in the children's own voices and native languages.
This will be the very first volume and the project will grow in the future.

Inspiration
The intent is to foster and encourage international collaboration at a young age through astronomy. For millennia, man has looked to the cosmos for inspiration. Today we are developing technologies that allow us to see deeper into the heavens than we ever have before to reveal even greater mysteries and beauty. That children should have access to that and experience the mystery of the Universe for themselves has the potential to spark a lifelong interest in science and unity among the world's inhabitants. After all, wherever we are in the world, we share the same sky.
The goal is a collaborative multimedia project showcasing contributions by kids from around the world set to a sountrack that includes children's voices in their native language speaking the words "You're a star!"
The thought is distribute the video for free via this website, YouTube, and anywhere else, to reach as wide an audience as possible to inspire in them the wonder and fascination of the Universe. All contributors will be able to freely share this video and use it to promote their organization's activities as well.
Our planned release is for early 2010.
This will be fun for all involved. It's going to be GREAT no matter what... and NEXT YEAR WILL BE EVEN BETTER!!
